The Ministry of Economy and Industry – The Agency for Small and Medium Businesses, by its operation arm ‘Maof’, in collaboration with Kiryat-Gat Municipality Youth department, announce the launch of Ga2Tech, a Technology Business Accelerator, under the professional management of Tal catran. We welcome start-up entrepreneurs, in all development stages, from idea onwards, to join the program that will boost you and your startups to success.

Ga2Tech is located in Kiryat-Gat "Tnufa" Youth Center Innovation HUB, and is open to all applicants. We welcome all entrepreneurs, having a technology idea or startup, to submit their application today!

Ga2tech offers you a rich variety of professional lectures, practical workshops, entrepreneurial training and business skills, supported by mentors, international networking and investor’s meetings. Our goal is to train and equip you with practical skills, enabling you to face head-on, some of the challenges expected to come your way tomorrow and in the future. We offer the following services:

CoWorking HUB

CoWorking office space at the Municipal Innovation HUB in Kiryat Gat, including meeting rooms and a well-equipped startup’s work environment.

Entrepreneurial Training & Business Skills

Even a brilliant startup idea needs a set of business skills in order to materialize it to success. As part of the rich training program of Ga2tech, you will enjoy guidance in entrepreneurial skills including how to build a business plan, how to preform market surveys as well as business and financial knowledge

Professional Lectures

Ga2tech offers you professional lectures in aspects of technological entrepreneurship, as well as enriching your skills towards the next phase of your startup

Practical Workshops

You will test your progress in learning by conducting practical workshops, with the guidance of professional mentors, receiving feedbacks that will promote your startup as well as yourself and your team

Professional Mentoring

Experience brings wisdom! Ga2Tech offers you a pool of professional mentors, with hands-on experience in guiding startups

During 2 sessions of the program, you will be given the opportunity to pitch your startups in front of an audience of industrial, hi-tech and venture capital leaders, and major stakeholders

Business Benefits

Ga2Tech participants will be eligible for enjoy several benefits as follows

Ga2Tech operates under the professional management of Tal Catran, one of Israel’s accelerators pioneer, establishing over 10 acceleration programs in Israel and abroad, an international keynote speaker with an extensive experience working with hundreds of startups in a diversity of technologies.

Ga2Tech participants can also enjoy a variety of ‘Maof’ consulting services, including Business Plan development, conducting market surveys, business and financial consulting. ‘Maof’ professional consulting team will guide you and your startup according to specific needs. When and how to begin?

Perquisites for Admission

Entrepreneurs from the general population, having a technology-related business idea, that have yet to raise over $100,000 from an investor or government program/fund
None of the applying participants are related to the program’s operator or its representatives
All applicants are over 18 year of age, and eligible according to Maof regulations, as published on its website
The idea or startup involve innovative technology
Participants will be chosen according to their compatibility to the program
Every cycle of the program will include up to 14 projects/startups, approved by a steering committee that will evaluate according to the following criteria:
1. Team composition and skills.
2. The project's innovation.
3. The project meets a market need and demand
4. The project’s readiness and chances to successfully meet its next target by end of the program
